Endless Eclipse Guide

Postiamo di seguito le guide dei boss di EE.

Da questa settimana in poi il nostro obiettivo è KAIN.

Di seguito una guida in inglese che ho trovato. Quando ho tempo la traduco ma mi sembra comunque chiara.

Il fight mi sembra decisamente abbordabile quindi da oggi in poi ci focalizziamo su questo boss.

Kain (2nd boss EE)

General Info:

HP: 20.6m
Enrage: 5 min



1st kill Setup:
2 Tanks
2 Chloro (AoE)
1 Puri
1 Warden
1 Bard (healing bard)
1 Archon
12 DPS



Phase-1: Zathral & Baziel


Mechanics:
•Deathbound Husk:
1.There are 8 of them in 2 groups of 4. Basically, ignore them. If you kill them more will spawn and also feed the bonegrinder.. After all this is a ST fight, no AoE, no passive cleaving.
2.Explosion: After Zathral dies a group of 4 Husks will start fuming with green smoke and eventually they will explode killing everything near them. Melee out!

•Deathbound Reaper:
1."Empower": There are 2 reapers in P1. If they get close to each other they gain a damage buff which can pretty much result in tanks getting 1-shot.
2.Whispers of the Dead: 3 seconds cast. Must be interrupted or 3-4 random players will die.

•Deathbound Bloodthief: 411k HP
1.AoE resistance: Bloodthieves will take something like 90% less damage by AoE. SINGLE TARGET THEM!
2.Enrage: Bloodthieves must die within 20 sec of their spawn or they will make everything Enrage.

•Zathral Ashtongue (mage #1): 6.9m HP
1.Endless Blight: 10 sec channel. Raid AoE damage. Must be healed through.
2.Vile Blood: Spawns 3x Bloodthief. You have 20 seconds to kill them or everything will enrage. In addition, bloodthieves must die before Zathral is dead otherwise Baziel will spawn enraged.

•Baziel Rotflesh (mage #2): 8.6m HP
1.Enrage: Baziel will spawn right after Zathral is dead. However, if a bloodthief is still alive when Baziel spawns then Baziel will spawn enraged.

2.Decay: 10 sec channel. Raid AoE damage. Must be healed through.
3.Ravenous Hunger: 3 players turn into Zombies. Zombie-players cannot receive any heals but they can be shielded.
Zombie-players will take 4k ticks of damage. In order to survive they must use the "feast" reactive ability on an ally player or pet to heal themselves. Players who get feasted can still receive heals.

•Corpsegrinder: You DONT wanna see this mob, ever! If it spawns consider it a wipe.
1.Spawn: For every 5 players dying a Corpsegrinder will spawn. Don't die..
2.Stacking buff: If a corpsegrinder spawns it will start building a stacking buff over time which makes it stronger and stronger. In order to reset the stacks you have to kill the Corpsegrinder who will respawn.
The DPS and healing check on this fight is pretty tight already, without any Corpsegrinders spawning. Avoid having one of those joining the fight.



Tactics:
1.Tank 1 take 4xHusk & 1xReaper to the left. Tank 2 take 4xHusk & 1xReaper to the right. Focus target interrupt the Reapers.
2.One of the tanks pick up Zathral. Everyone nuke Zathral. You must either kill him before Vile Blood or stop DPS when Vile Blood is being casted to deal with the Bloodthieves.
3.If bloodthieves spawns make sure you have a "/tar bloodthief" macro to quickly target and ST down the bloodthieves. You got 20 sec to kill them else everything will enrage.
4.Once bloodthieves are dead, finish Zathral off. Baziel should spawn. A tank pick it up and everyone Nuke Baziel.
5.Baziel must die before the next pack of adds comes through the plane of death.
6.Also, when Baziel comes 4 husks will begin to fume untill they explode. Melee be careful.
7.Baziel will turn 3 players into Zombies. They receive a DoT and they cannot receive any healings but shields only. To heal up, zombie players have to target an ally player or an ally pet and click the reactive ability they got.
8.Remember that for each 5 deaths a Corpsegrinder becomes active and if that happens it's pretty much a wipe. Basically, don't derp.



Phase-2: Kain

Mechanics:

•Kain: 20.6m HP
1.Life Bane: Frontal cleave. Damage is spread to players in front of the boss. Requires 2 tanks to soak it.
2.Voracious Hunger: Cross ground AoE. Turns players into Zombies if they get hit by it. Simply, avoid it!
3.Foul Blood (every 20 sec): 3 random (non tank) players will receive a red aoe around them dealing damage to nearby allies. In addition, 3 Bloodthieves will spawn, if you don't kill them until next "foul blood" boss will enrage.

•Deathbound Bloodthief: 411k HP
1.AoE resistance: Bloodthieves will take something like 90% less damage by AoE. SINGLE TARGET THEM!
2.Enrage: Bloodthieves must die within 20 sec of their spawn or they will make everything Enrage.

•Corpsegrinder: You DONT wanna see this mob, ever! If it spawns consider it a wipe.
1.Spawn: For every 5 players dying a Corpsegrinder will spawn. Don't die..
2.Stacking buff: If a corpsegrinder spawns it will start building a stacking buff over time which makes it stronger and stronger. In order to reset the stacks you have to kill the Corpsegrinder who will respawn.
The DPS and healing check on this fight is pretty tight already, without any Corpsegrinders spawning. Avoid having one of those joining the fight.

•Forsaken:
1.Before 4 mins: Walking around the room in a big circle, killing anyone who will go near them.
2.After 4 mins: Walking closer to the center of the room in a small circle. Will kill anyone who goes near them.
3.After Kain reaches 10% HP: Forsaken start walking towards the center of the room, killing anyone they come across in their path. It's a soft enrage.. kill Kain before you wipe.


Tactics:
1.1 tank pick up Kain and place him in the middle of the room. The offtank only needs to stand on top of the MT to soak the cleaves (no need for tank swaps etc)
2.Everyone stack up well behind Kain and nuke him. (make sure the raid is in the middle of the room so that forsaken cannot reach you after 4 mins in the fight)
3.Whenever Bloodthieves spawn everyone must use their /tar Bloodthief macro and ST down the bloodthieves before they stack enrage on boss.
4.Just heal through the red AoEs that come with the Bloodthieves. (add another aoe healer if u really have to)
5.Move out of the cross AoE. Ideally, no-one should be hit and turned into a zombie.
6.Save Flaring Power for the last 20% of Kain. If there are active bloodthieves at that point, finish them off. If there are no bloodthieves at that point just completely ignore any bloodthieves from then on and burn the boss!!!
7.Remember that for each 5 deaths a Corpsegrinder becomes active and if that happens it's pretty much a wipe. Basically, don't derp.
